Sorry to have been so long in posting the winner from our Blog Hop.........without further ado......
the winner is......
Congratulation Mel!!!!! I have a little parcel of scrapping goodness heading your way! Just drop me a line with your address and I'll get it out to you a.s.a.p.
Thanks everyone who participated in
1st ever blog hop and to everyone who left such lovely comments for me to read.
I sooo enjoyed reading them all and am grateful to you for taking the time to leave them.
In other news....my babies are heading off to school on Monday! I am approaching this day with such a mixed bag of emotions. On one hand I am happy for them to go and start a whole new adventure as both are well and truly ready for the challenges ahead and are bored silly at home....but I am going to miss them dreadfully. My Mum often jokes with me and says "be careful what you wish for" and while the extra time on my hands will be wonderful, I'm really going to be sad that they're not around!
I remember how excited I was before they were both born to see their clothes fluttering in the breeze on our clothes line.......hmmmm...not as excited now to see their clothes for the next stage of their lives....but I'm sure we'll get there! Here's my layout I created to remember this moment....
I found this photo quite tricky to match the combination of blues, particulary the lighter blue...SOOOOO, I decided to create my own patterend paper. I'm not so skilled with embossing, but I thought it was time to give it a go and I think I'm hooked. I used the number acrylic stamp from the KC Child's Play collection and then embossed the image. I could not be any happier with the effect...hehehe!
AND onto some more scrapping news....... I've been a busy girl in the past week with lots of yummy Kaisercraft goodies from their 2 new collections.....
Made with love &
Shaken not stirred.
I can't show you any of my creations just yet, so you'll have to stay tuned.
I've also created my first layout using our new poem for scrap that poetry , so you'll have to pop over and check out the beautiful love inspired poem at the beginning of the month and play along!
ANd finally......Here's a layout I finished last night. My beautiful Miss Belle....Stef and I laughingly call her "our little space cadet" because she is such a dreamer, so this image of her was captured perfectly!
Have a great day wherever you are and thanks for stopping by!
Feel free to leave a comment if you like, I love reading them.xxx
Oh Nikki, I can only imagine what you must be feeling with your little ones heading off to School, I have just one little boy but their is only 2 years before he goes and I say already, wow where has the time gone, I love the layout you did with their school clothes, everything is just perfect. The layout you did of your little girl is truly beautiful, the buttons randomly placed and the scolloped circle is magnificent.
By the way, how do I follow your blog, I am not computer savvy but their is usually a follow button up the top?
Love your work, good idea to stay busy with scrapping this week.... Love Melxxx
