Hello and welcome to the very FIRST EVER.....Scrap that Poetry Blog Hop!
The theme for our blog hop is Valentines day as you would have noticed with the beautiful poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning "How do I love thee?" for some inspiration for us all. I've created a card for my gorgeous husband for Valentine's Day using the first line of the poem as the title ...
and on the inside....
(I've also used the brand new Kaisercraft Shaken not Stirred range...nice isn't it!)
Scrap that Poetry's Blog was your 1st stop and my little blog spot here is the 9th stop of the hop( thanks Jane for introducing me xx). I have my very own little RAK to give away, and all you need to do to win is tell me what you find most inspiring about Scrap that Poetry. Leave your comment on this post to be entered to win!
After you have visited all the blogs and made a post on each one, be sure to go back to the
and post when you have finished. Too easy really! Thanks soooo much for playing along and hopping with us. Your next stop is Kim's blog.
Thanks again and take care xxx
Absolutely breathless card!!! Wow!

Just adore that card Nik! Amazing!!
You have got me hooked on 'Scrap that Poetry' - love the blog hop....so much inspiration, not enough time to check it all out. I am now torn between all of my UFOs (which need to be finished) or creating something based on Scrap That Poetry's poem!Ahhhhh!

I just love your card, I love the doodling around the outside and the little embellishments on the front, I have just joined the blog hop and I guess the thing about Scrap that Poetry is the fact that a poem can bring up so many emotions in you, releasing these emotions into crafting is so therapeutic, their is no restrictions, it is how the poem moves you to how you create your layout, card etc. I really like that..... Love Melxx

What I love about STP? The freedom to interpret any part of the poem in any style, there is no "recipe." I wanted to follow your blog but can't figure out how to in typepad. Happy blog hoppin!

What an awersome card! I love the hearts on the inside.

OMG that card is amazing. I love the you showed the inside, too!
I am really liking STP! I always have a hard time coming up with titles, and sometimes there are photos that I don't have much journaling for, so using lines from poems will be perfect for this! Thanks for the blog hop!

STP is so inspiring because the focus in on words! I think a lot of times i get caught up with how my layouts look as opposed to what they say! I want to create timeless pieces of art that my family can have for years and the poems at STP help me do exactly that!

I love the cascade of hearts on your card...and I love your blog header, too! :)

STP is great because it is another way to inspire me to do layouts. Its a great jumping off point to make a layout around the poem title or a verse

Nik, your card is AMAZING! I love how you used this range for a love theme. I think I will just have to give STP a go - I love using songs, quotes and poems on layouts so I think it is right up my alley!!
